At Cyma, some of the best thinking happens when people get out from behind the slide deck and talk honestly with each other. Our events are built around that belief.
They’re not polished presentations or passive sit-and-listen sessions. They’re practical, people-led conversations that bring together our community to share what’s working, what’s changing, and what’s coming next across business and technology.
We create space for real discussion, useful learning, and genuine connection, grounded in the challenges people are actually dealing with day to day.
We currently run two regular event formats: The Knowledge Space and Cheers and Chill.
Events
The Knowledge Space is our flagship event series, created for people shaping and leading technology, from IT Architects and specialists through to senior leaders and C-suite roles.
While the audience may change, the intent stays the same: practical, relevant conversations about the intersection of business, technology, and delivery.
Each session is shaped by the people in the room. Topics are varied and continue to evolve during the event, keeping discussions focused on real-world experience rather than theory.
Formats vary depending on the audience and the topic. Some sessions are highly interactive, while others take the shape of panel discussions, facilitated conversations, or leadership roundtables. What they all share is a focus on insight over opinion, and usefulness over noise.
The Knowledge Space is a chance to step out of delivery mode, lift your head up, and reflect on what’s emerging, and what it means for the decisions we’re making today.
Cheers and Chill is exactly what it sounds like, a more relaxed get-together with no slides, no formal agenda, and no pressure.
It’s an opportunity to come into the office, grab a drink and some food, and spend time with others in the industry. Conversations are informal, wide-ranging, and often the kind you don’t get time for during the workday.
It’s about keeping things simple. Connecting properly. Sharing a few stories. And building relationships outside the usual meeting room setting.
