Where We Came From,
and What Drives Us Now.
Cyma started with a simple conversation on Auckland’s waterfront and a shared belief that architecture could be done differently, more human, more practical, and far more aligned with
what Kiwi businesses actually need. No jargon, no bloated price tags, no over‑engineered complexity. Just good people doing good work.
From the start, the focus was on staying independent, keeping things simple, and building an environment where smart, passionate people could do their best mahi. We set out to create a place that valued collaboration over competition, real relationships over sales pitches, and clarity over noise.
Today, that foundation still guides us - but our purpose has sharpened.
At Cyma, we exist for one reason:
