At Cyma, we believe great work and great culture go hand in hand. The Serious Fun award recognises someone who helps create an environment where people genuinely enjoy showing up, working together, and having a laugh along the way.

This year’s Serious Fun award goes to Laura Askew!

There were plenty of worthy contenders this year, with everything from office playlists and push-up challenges through to some truly questionable Slack comments helping keep the energy alive. What’s been clear though is that even through the busy and challenging moments, this team has continued to create a workplace full of connection, humour, and good times.

And at the centre of a lot of that is Laura. Whether it’s organising activities, bringing people together, creating a fun atmosphere in the office, or simply keeping the vibe alive day to day, she has played a huge part in shaping the culture we all enjoy being part of.
